I used to think acne treatments had to feel harsh to actually work. The stronger the sting, the more convincing it seemed. Over time, I started leaning toward formulas that feel a bit more balanced—still focused, but not overwhelming.
Lately, I’ve been switching between the Lanbena Acne Clear Serum and the AMPLE:N Acne Shot Ampoule. They approach the same concern in slightly different ways, and that’s what makes them interesting to use side by side.

1. Lanbena Acne Clear Serum

This one feels very direct. I usually apply it only on specific spots rather than all over, especially when something suddenly appears and needs quick attention. The texture is light, almost watery, so it doesn’t sit heavily on the skin. I tend to use it more as a targeted step, something I rely on when I want to keep things under control without adding too many layers.

2. AMPLE:N Acne Shot Ampoule

Compared to Lanbena, this one feels a bit more like part of a full routine. The texture has a slight body to it, but still absorbs without leaving a sticky feel. I use it more evenly across areas that tend to act up, not just on one spot. It gives the impression of steady care rather than quick fixes, which makes me reach for it more consistently.
I don’t really replace one with the other—they just fall into different roles. Lanbena is more of a “when needed” product for me, while AMPLE:N fits into my daily routine more naturally. Sometimes I even use both, just not at the same time or place. It keeps things simple without overloading my skin.
