Cleansing Balms I Keep!

Greetings, Lykkers! For the longest time, I thought cleansing balms would feel too heavy for my skin. I was convinced they would leave a greasy residue or make my routine feel complicated.
After trying a few, I completely changed my mind.
Now, there's something satisfying about watching makeup, sunscreen, and the day's buildup melt away in seconds. These are the two cleansing balms I've been using recently, and both have earned a permanent spot on my skincare shelf.

1. Dear Me Beauty Meltaway Balm

This is the cleansing balm I reach for when I want something simple and reliable. The texture melts quickly once it comes into contact with the skin, making it easy to massage across the face. I especially like using it after wearing sunscreen all day because it breaks everything down without requiring a lot of effort.
What stands out to me is how comfortable my skin feels afterward. My face feels clean but not stripped, which is something I always look for in a first cleanser.
It rinses away nicely and doesn't leave behind a heavy film. On lazy evenings when I'm tempted to skip my routine, this product somehow makes cleansing feel less like a chore.

2. Skintific Purifying Barrier Ice Cream Cleansing Balm

The name caught my attention first, but the texture is what made me keep using it. It has a soft, creamy consistency that feels luxurious during application. As I massage it into my skin, makeup starts dissolving quickly, including stubborn eye makeup and long-wearing products. I also enjoy how nourishing it feels.
Some cleansing balms focus purely on removing makeup, but this one leaves my skin feeling comfortable and cared for after rinsing. Whenever my skin feels a little dry or stressed, this is usually the balm I reach for because the cleansing experience feels extra gentle.
Even though they're both cleansing balms, I use them differently. Dear Me Beauty is my easy everyday option—the one I grab without thinking. Skintific feels a bit more indulgent and is what I reach for when I want my evening skincare routine to feel more relaxing.
Both do a great job of removing makeup and sunscreen, which is ultimately what I want from a cleansing balm.
