Hey Lykkers! There’s a certain kind of “tired skin” I get sometimes—no matter how much I sleep, my face still looks a bit dull and uneven. Not exactly bad, just… not glowing. That’s usually when I start reaching for brightening serums again and get a bit more serious with my routine.
These three are the ones I’ve personally rotated and slowly grown attached to because they actually made my skin look more fresh over time.

1. NPure Licorice Potion of Light Serum – $13

This one feels like a slow skincare moment for me. The texture is milky, so it’s not something that disappears instantly. I actually take a second to massage it in because it sits on the skin for a bit before fully absorbing. At first, I wasn’t sure if I’d like that feeling, but now I kind of enjoy it. It makes my routine feel more intentional. Over time, I noticed my skin tone looking a bit more even, especially around old acne marks that usually take forever to fade. It’s not a “wow overnight glow” type of serum, but more like a steady improvement that sneaks up on you.

2. Votre Peau Niacinamide Booster Ampoule – $16

This is my easy, no-thought serum. I reach for it when I don’t want to think too much about skincare but still want results. The texture is lightweight and sinks in fast, which I really like on busy days. It doesn’t leave any stickiness, so I can layer moisturizer right after without waiting around. What I personally noticed is that my skin looks more balanced when I use it consistently. Oil control is better, and my post-acne marks don’t look as stubborn as before. It just quietly does its job in the background, which I appreciate.

3. Pureheals Propolis Ampoule – $18

This one feels like my “skin recovery” serum. Whenever my skin feels a bit sensitive or slightly irritated, I naturally reach for this. The watery-gel texture feels refreshing, almost like giving my skin a drink. I do prefer using it at night though, because in the morning it can feel a bit too comforting under makeup. When I stick to it regularly, my skin looks healthier and less dull. It doesn’t just brighten—it kind of makes my skin feel more stable overall.
Each serum fits a different moment in my skincare journey, and I don’t really replace one with another. I usually switch depending on what my skin is asking for that day. Over time, I realized consistency matters more than chasing instant results. And for me, the real glow starts showing when my skin feels calm, balanced, and cared for.
